On 29 June, 2015, Shanghai Municipal Transport Commission delegation, headed by its Director-General Liu Jun, visited Latvia.
In the framework of the visit, the Shanghai municipal transport commission delegation, headed by Director General Liu Jun, visited the Freeport of Riga. Various possibilities in the field of cargo transportation, as well as investment opportunities at the Freeport of Riga were presented to the members of the high-level Chinese delegation. A tour by boat Jelgava around the port water area was provided for the guests. The current situation in the port, accessible territories for business development, as well as port infrastructure and infrastructure development plans were presented to the members of Shanghai Municipal Transport Commission delegation.
