During the first four months of the current year 7,9 MLN tons of cargoes were handled at the Freeport of Riga, which is by 5,1% less than within the respective period of the last year, when 8,39 MLN tons were handled.
During the first four months of the current year 4,6 MLN tons of bulk cargoes were handled at the Freeport of Riga which is by 11,2% less than within the respective period of the last year, when 5,2 MLN tons were handled.
1,63 MLN tons of liquid cargoes were handled which is by 1,6% more than within the first four months of the last year, when 1,6 MLN tons of these cargoes were handled.
The turnover of general cargoes has erased by 7,4% reaching 1,75 MLN tons. During the respective period of the last year approximately 1,6 MLN tons of these cargoes were handled.
During the first four months of the current year 60 213 passengers were serviced at the Freeport of Riga, which is almost 3 times more than within the respective period of the last year, when 21 703 passengers were serviced.
