The weeklong concerts on Bastejkalns will open "Cutty Sark" regatta in Riga

The weeklong concerts until 8 August on Bastejkalns at the Swan house will be opening the "Cutty Sark Tall Ships’ Races 2003" regatta in Riga. The concerts will begin each evening at 21:00. On 9 August the first participants of the regatta are expected to call at Riga. The official opening will be on Sunday, 10 August. The visitors will be able to view about 90 sailing ships and yachts and to enjoy magnificent events programme. On Sunday, 10 August, at the Riga Passenger Terminal at 14:00 the official opening of the regatta will take place. On Monday, 11 August, at 18:00 on the streets of the Old Riga an attractive parade will come up.
