The Parliament adopts amendments in Laws on Freeports and Special Economic Zones

Today in the final reading the Parliament adopted amendments in the "Law on application of taxes in Freeports and Special Economic Zones" that determine to coordinate the norms of the Law with regulations of the European Union in terms of excise and value added taxes. The corresponding amendments were also made in "Riga Freeport Law" and "Ventspils Freeport Law".
