The cargo turnover of the Freeport of Riga during four months period has risen by 12%

During four months period of the current year 6 435 700 tons of cargo were handled in the Freeport of Riga, which is by 12% more than during the first four months of 2002. 2 580 600 tons of bulk cargoes, 1 717 000 tons of liquid cargoes and 2 138 100 tons of general cargoes were handled during the first four months of the current year. In April 1 729 100 tons were handled in the Freeport of Riga.
