The Board of the Freeport has decided to sign an agreement with the Riga City Main Police Board regarding the delivery of the Freeport patrol cutters to the water police. In compliance with the agreement the police obtains two cutters and other specialized equipment in order to provide order in the territory of the Freeport. To provide order on water a special 32nd police department was formed, although a real order providing on water is incommodious due to the lack of equipment. As the Freeport of Riga is interested in providing the order in its territory, the Board supported the decision of purchasing the necessary equipment for the needs of police. The total cost of cutters and equipment is about 80 000 LVL.
