Geotechnical research of Spilve meadows | Freeport of Riga Authority

With the aim to plan the further development of the Freeport of Riga territories and to improve the offer addressing potential investors, the Freeport of Riga Authority has carried out an in-depth study of the free territories of the port in Spilve meadows. It is expected that in the future the territory of Spilve meadows could be developed as a site for logistics and industrial companies’ operation. The development of port territories on the left bank of the Daugava has been included into the Freeport of Riga Development Program 2019 - 2028 - an operational document that provides guidance for the development of the Freeport of Riga in terms of cargo, functions and territorial aspects.
