The project encompasses both landscaping and the construction of a children's playground situated at the junction of Kundziņsala Line 6 and Line 7. The playground has been meticulously designed, incorporating segmented areas tailored to various age groups and activities. Specifically designed for children between 2 to 12 years old, the playground area features a range of amenities such as a sandpit, slides, swings, and a rope pyramid. Additionally, a designated street exercise zone has been created for children aged 7 and above, as well as for adults, equipped with a climbing wall and multiple exercise sets.
Safety has been a paramount consideration for both children and accompanying adults. To ensure their well-being, the playground area has been surfaced with a durable, flexible, waterproof, and impact-resistant rubber material in various colors. Furthermore, the sand surface of the adjacent volleyball court has been enhanced through the reinforcement of the laid geotextile, augmenting its quality and usability.
