In order to reduce the noise caused by railway access roads, by 2014 the Freeport of Riga Authority has built an anti-noise wall in Daugavgrīva along the adjacent Parādes Street houses, and the SIA “Man-Tess” has transferred the railway access road up to 50 m further from the apartment house at 54 Tvaika Street and the railway crossing.
In 2015, anti- noise wall between Kundziņsala residential area and the railway was commissioned. The anti-noise barrier consists of two sections and its total length is 560 m. This wall will significantly reduce noise in the residential area of Kundziņsala.
