Construction works for the project “Traffic overpass from Tvaika street to Kundziņsala” have been started

According to the procurement process outcomes, on June 6, 2023, the Freeport of Riga Authority concluded a construction contract with SIA “RERE VIDE” for the construction of the Kundziņsala public and closed area and the connection with the traffic overpass from Tvaika Street to Kundziņsala. Construction works are to be completed by December 29, 2023. The total contract price for the works is EUR 4 975 484.59, excluding VAT.

The works performed under the construction contract will be the first stage of the “Traffic overpass from Tvaika street to Kundziņsala” project. The second stage of the project - the construction of the traffic overpass from Tvaika Street to Kundziņsala, will be carried out by the project partner - Riga State City Municipality, until January 1, 2026.

The total eligible costs of the project are EUR 8 777 979.27, including Cohesion Fund financing of EUR 6 505 360.44.
