Work group from Riga is visiting Moscow in order to discuss transit possibilities and investments in the Freeport of Riga

Today the work group from Riga is going to Moscow. The work group is established in accordance with mutual cooperation agreement between Riga and Moscow. During the visit it is planned to discuss the issues regarding transit, cargo transhipments and possibilities for Russian entrepreneurs to make investments in the Freeport of Riga. The leader of the work group is Mr. Andris Ameriks, Chairman of City development committee of the Riga City Council. Meetings with officials of high rank and ministers of our neighbouring country are planned during the visit. Mr. Leonids Loginovs, CEO of the Freeport of Riga and Mr. Andris Zorgevics, President of State Sh/C "Latvijas Dzelzcels" (Latvian Railway) and several representatives of the Freeport are also included in the delegation of Riga.
