On 23 November 2015, Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mr.Alexei Pavlenko, as well as a delegation of accompanying businessmen will visit the Freeport of Riga in the framework of a working visit. The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen contacts and trade between companies from Ukraine and Riga.
One of the reasons for the visit is the desire to get acquainted with agricultural products freight transport and processing, as well as with investment and cooperation opportunities in Latvia, that is why during the visit the delegation will be provided with a presentation on the possibilities in the field of cargo transport, as well as investment opportunities at the Freeport of Riga. The delegation will be introduced to the current situation at the port, available business areas, as well as with the port infrastructure and infrastructure development plans.
Together with Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister the Head of Ukraine Latvian Fish Resources Agency Mr. Jarim Kovaliv will also pay a visit to Latvia.
