Today in Riga begins Africa/Europe regional meeting of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH).
The meeting will give the opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge to be beneficial for the ports and the organisation.
IAPH is one of the largest and most influential port organisations in the world. With the aim to promote the development of the international port and maritime industry and port cooperation in international level IAPH comprises now some 230 Regular Members – leading ports in 90 countries and economies in the world.
Members of IAPH are port authorities, private port operators and different state administration institutions. Last year IAPH celebrated its 50th anniversary.
