The CEO of the Freeport of Riga does not approve the amendments of the Laws regarding the tax application in the Freeports supported by the Government. The amendments make obstacles for successful business in the Freeport; why should Latvia join the European Union when the country must accept disadvantageous conditions. The CEO of the Freeport of Riga admitted, thus the "rules of the game" are being changed during the "game" and the Freeport becomes unpredictable for entrepreneurs.
