2010 Cruise Season Opens at the Port of Riga

On May 4, 2010 the entrance of cruise ship Mona Lisa opened the 2010 cruise season at the port of Riga.

The cruise ship Mona Lisa, having the length of 201 m, brought 583 tourists from 8 different to Riga. 98% of passengers were from Germany, and the rest of tourists came from Austria, France, the Netherlands, Romania, Swiss, Great Britain and the US.

The cruise ship will visit Riga again on May 14, 2010.

With the purpose to mark this event, Ms Inita Luna, the Head of Cruise Ships and Passenger Division, visited the cruise ship Mona Lisa and its captain Mr Dimitris Daoutis in order to welcome him to Riga and exchange remembrance gifts.
