2010 cruise ship season was scheduled to begin on 04. May with the arrival of the 201-meter-long Mona Lisa, and On 16. September 2010, entry of the cruise ship N.G. Explorer concluded a five month cruise ship season in the Riga Port.

With 63 registered port calls during the cruise ship season of 2010, cruise ships arrived carrying to Riga 55,000 tourists from 65 different countries. Most of all the guests brought to Riga by cruise ships were from Germany, Sweden, USA, Great Britain, and Norway. This year’s 02 June and 22 July the Riga passengers’ terminal was operated by 3 cruise ships by the same time.

Chance to discover the delight of the Riga port for the first time use 4 cruise ships included Mein Schiff, Clipper Adventure, Regatta and Vision of the Seas. The ships arrived most frequently in port of Riga were Regatta (6 times), Viking Cinderella (4times), and Vision of the Seas (4 times).

According to the cruise ships schedules the port of Riga in 2011 attended by 69 cruise ships. On May 13, 2011 entrance of Cruise ship Delphin will open the cruise season at the Port of Riga. Next year new cruise ships discover delights of the Port of Riga for the first time. During 2011 these include Le Boreal, Mein Schiff2, Costa Pacifica, Clipper Odyssey, Marina, Grand Mistral, Artania and Oriana.
